Information Ministry to organize National Short Film Festival next month

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in connection with 75th Independence celebrations, is organizing a National Short Film Festival next month.
In a tweet, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said short films, spanning from 60 to 90 seconds can be emailed to ptv.films@ptv.com.pk by 5th of the next month.
The short films can cater to multiple subjects, including sufism, minorities, education, history, international peace, film, Pakistani cuisine, tourism, diplomacy, culture, heritage, youth development, interfaith harmony, women empowerment, music and sports.
First position holder of the festival will be given a cash prize of 100,000 rupees, while second and third position holders will receive 75,000 rupees and 50,000 rupees respectively.
