PDF has a wide array of members from across the world. Would be interesting to see what prices you pay for day to day things. Food, clothing, transport etc Items that can be compared across the globe and make good referance points like pint of milk, coke bottle, cost of pizza, McDonald burger etc would be nice. Also please add the exchange rate with sterling pound so we all have common measure.

@vostok @KediKesenFare @xenon54 @Beast @Hamartia Antidote etc etc. The more countries we get the better the measure becomes. Thanks all.

Ps. Prices of petrol, cars, housing etc would be good idea.

Prices can vary widely (except on line like Amazon) so it can be difficult to give you a hard price point. There are states whose median income are double others. I’m in one of the highest so the prices I quote will most likely be at the top end.

Big Mac is about $4.87 (3.80 Sterling)
milk: $0.64/liter (0.49 Sterling) at wholesalers and about $1/liter (0.76 Sterling) at retailers.
Coke bottle: $3.33 (2.45 Sterling) for 6pack (500ml bottles) about $0.55 (0.42 Sterling) each.
Large Domino’s Cheese Pizza (35.5cm) : about $9.99 (7.63 Sterling)
Gasoline: $0.65/liter (0.5 Sterling)
Dress pants: $20 at wholesalers (15.27 Sterling)
Dress shirt: $17 at wholesalers (13 Sterling)
Bus fare one ride: $1.70 flat fee (1.30 Sterling)
Subway: $2.40 flat fee ( 1.83 Sterling) as long as you stay in the system.
Monthly unlimited combined Subway+Buses pass: $90 (68.78 Sterling)
Dozen eggs. $1.20 (0.92 Sterling)
1400cc hatchback: $13,200 Chevy Spark (10,087 Sterling)
Electricity: $0.22/kWH (0.17 Sterling) for Natural Gas (US average is $0.13 (0.10 Sterling) which probably use coal/nuclear)
Wheat flour: $1.61/kg (1.23 Sterling)
