That's not the point of American foreign policy. America backs Arab monarchies, none of which is democratic. The Americans only back whoever is pro America, dictatorship be damned. If Maduro is pro America then Americans back him too.

And the other world powers only back the good guys? Lol. We can't just change every ally to think and act exactly like us and if we tried you would complain about that to.

So the Lima Group has jumped on board to support the US undermining of Venezuela's economy and government. Anybody remember the "weapons of mass destruction" that never existed? I wonder what each country was promised in return. I wonder how long it will be before the US tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum are lifted. Maybe there will be a new pipeline from Alberta to the US.

I guess you haven't been following that area for the last decade but Venezuela fell on it's own.
