I think Duterte is right on this one. His rapprochement towards China and Russia has rankled many American feathers. Curious that the ISIS takeover of a Philippines town came during Duterte's visit to Russia.

I think CIA did cooperate with Syria rebels. And some rebels got out of control of CIA and became terrorist organizations like ISIS. USA shouldn't have stood with Syria Jihadists in the first place. Anyone who supported Jihadists for any reason, is stupid and will be bit by the monster fostered by themselves.

US regime is a state sponsor of terrorism. Dealing with it needs caution. One must have striking back capacity; otherwise, US propaganda arm is too powerful to goad gullible public. Who remembers the US invasion on false accounts and fabricated evidence? US screams and whines every 9/11, but, there is no anniversary for the hundreds and thousands that have been killed directly and indirectly by the US.

If Duterte left helpless, he will be an easy prey. I guess Putin's hands are full in Syria, the Philippines fall on China's hands. I am not in favor of China's military involvement without official request by Manila. But, in terms of weapons platforms, China needs to beef up the Philippines so that the religious-separatist cancer is destroyed before it spreads.
