According to the Russian Defense Ministry, ten crews of bomber, fighter and army aviation of Western Military District (WMD) finalizing preparations to compete in air proficiency "Aviadarts."
This year WMD will put at the competition pilots of bombers Su-24 and Su-34, helicopters Mi-24 and Mi-8, as well as fighters Su-27 and MiG-29 SMT, serving at air bases in eight Russian regions.
During the planned flights aircrews will work on piloting technique, formation flying as part of units and couples, as well as use missile, gun and bomb armament in combat.
All-Army competition "Aviadarts" will be held 20-26 May at the aviation landfill Pogonova in the Voronezh region. They will involve more than 70 best aviation crews of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
