I think its easier for you to accept that an officer can be swayed by sex and or sexual interaction online cuz the alternative sounds so absurd to everyone but you are just assuming that is the case here. Had it been i am sure sensational Indian media would have reported that aspect.

If u knew what entails in these honey-trap saga, you wouldn't believe that these guys were like teenagres who fall for bob and vagin pics and started spying for pakistan.

Forget officers, no Indian soldier would interact with a pakistani unless already trapped. Only when they are made to believe they are talking to Indian girls and subsequently trapped, some start to do the bidding of the enemy.

I guess it's goes aganist their pakistani ego to believe real Pakistani women are engaged to first entice in lurid sex chats e,g on Facebook and whatsapp, then trap men from India forces. But that's bitter reality.

This embarrassment never ends. IA can possibly force the troops to take up a hobby and keep away from smart phones in their free time. But I doubt that it will be really successful. At the very least, I hope Indian sleuths are playing the same tricks and are equally successful at it

Wont count on it - simply because of the ratio of the personnel to interested “attractive” ladies(call it a mid subcontinent curse but even Mata Hari has a reason for her success).

But most importantly(and with some disgust) - Pakistani sleuths have really taken in the “oldest profession” industry in stride and cultivate “product” from that industry for both internal and external uses.
The sophistication goes beyond social media and into some sleuth training and even gadgets like miniature bra cameras and so on.
