PR earns Rs. 2 bln. in current fiscal year

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has earned an amount of over two billion rupees from freight service in the first ten months of current fiscal year.

According to officials, improvement in freight service has enhanced the railways revenue to 121 percent as compared to last year.
They said the availability of locomotives for freight service has been enhanced from eight to twenty five on daily basis.

The officials said Pakistan Railways is expected to receive more locomotives in near future which will further boost the freight traffic.

I think the title is incorrect

What they mean to say is PR earned 2 billion rupees of profit in freight service. It's not a total profit as I believe that is still in losses of around 26 billion rupees reduced from 40 billion rupees or something.

We had almost abandoned the freight service and since they restarted freight service, they are earning profit from the very first year of its revival.

nope, not profit, it just earned two billion from freight only with only 4 trains.
