Post your short questions on Op Zarb e Azb.

Zarb a Azb is it over?
No, the Battle of Shawal valley is going on as we speak - its the last territory which TTP controls. So far the area is under Pakistan army - but Operation Zarb e Azb will not be considered over until the remaining stragglers are killed and the Area is cleared of IEDs and booby traps.

How much is Pakistan spending on Operation Zarb-e-Azb daily?

How much has Pakistan spent so far?
1: Spending stats for Zarb e Azb has come out yet, but estimate it at around 1-2 billion dollars.

2: Let me quote this from wikipedia; The war depleted the country's manpower resources, and the outcomes outlined a deep effect on its national economy, since Pakistan had joined the USA-led War on Terror.[37] According to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) statistics and mathematical data survey collections, the economy has suffered direct and indirect losses of up to ~$67.93 billion since 2001 due to its role as a "frontline state."[38][39] According to the MoF-issued Pakistan Economic Survey 2010–2011, "Pakistan has never witnessed such a devastating social and economic upheaval in its industry, even after dismemberment of the country by a direct war with India in 1971."[39]

That's quite bad. No doubt Pakistan's military is responsible for yet another disaster.

Yes it is quite bad; but it has also had good effects on us. The population has lost support for the Taliban, our Armed Forces are now very experienced and battle hardened, the Nation is very united and patriotic and ect...

Also; dont blame this on the military - if it wasnt for them we'd been having much more massive losses.

My set of questions:

1. Why is there not much media coverage regarding this op?
2. What is xactly the role of PAK SF and ISI in this op? For example: is SF used as a force multiplier to the army or are they used in an entirely different "strategic role"?
3. Is the OP Zarb a COIN op or is it like conventional warfare?

Thanks
1: Alot of Media coverage; at first it was too dangerous for them - but now media channels are flowing in like water and have provided detail descriptions of operations and soldiers.

2: This time, the CAD wing of the ISI hasnt seen much action. The ISI has been responsible for locating and giving details of remaining terrorists while combat forces rush to eliminate these remnants. The SSG mostly does quick, and fast attacks on isolated terrorist areas - they also do operations along side regulars - the SSG put their training to good due and focus on the roles they were meant to do.

3: The Operation saw little conventional warfare and that only being in the beginning - but right now the TTP is too weak to put up any conventional fight.

It is only and only military's fault. America throws them a bone and the brave faujis start wagging their tail.

Field Marshal Ayub Khan's military-rule lead to loss of Shaksgam Valley.

General Yahya Khan's military-rule lead to loss of East Pakistan.

General Zia-ul-Haq's military-rule lead to loss of Siachin Glacier.

General Pervez Musharraf's military-rule turned Pakistan into Afghanistan (Af-Pak) or a banana republic.

The last one was the worst where the nation went on the brink of an eleven-year-long civil war, almost total disintegration, 418 US drone strikes, 60,000+ deaths and $100 billon of economic destruction.

Now, these same morons want credit and daily praise by everyone for putting an end to their own stupidity. What they deserve is hanging from the highest lampposts and trees in the country.

Pakistani military may be expert at killing its own people and politicians but not very bright when it comes to handling foreign policies.
