Nahi, i am not taking anybody's post negative. Many years ago, i used to argue and i had references saved on such topics but over time i realised that arguments lead nowhere. You will quote 5 ayats and 5 hadiths, to counter i will post 5 ayats and 5 hadiths and after that the authenticity claims and interpretation issue will arise. The thread will be ruined and finally closed by mods.

Secondly, I have my own knowledge and experience about dervish, amils, jinns, rooh, moakil, satan, black magic, spiritual world etc and its pretty ok if someone dis-agrees. Similarly, i respect your views and everyone's else's views.

As for increasing knowledge, yes i can write pages and pages on this topic, but like i said above about references and i dont want to dig in references and indulge in a counter argument, i dont enjoy that. If someone disagrees, i become quiet and thats it. I dont feel the need to prove myself over spirituality. I am pretty contended and happy with my knowledge and experience.

Let me narrate you a very odd true account.. I didn't want to share it here but since the discussion has led us to discuss this topic, I think I should tell you guys..

My grandfather is a martyr.. He was martyred when my father was 10-11..

After my grandfather died, my father saw him in his dream.. My father was the eldest in his siblings.. Grandfather took him to one of the shops at MA Jinnah Road.. and asked him to pay 50 Rupees to one of the shops which repaired the watches..

He showed him the way, the shop, and introduced him to the shop owner.. and asked my father to pay him 50 Rupees..

My father being very young, didn't know about MA Jinnah Road.. in fact he didn't have 50 Rupees as well... So he narrated the whole dream to his uncle (elder brother of my grandfather).. My father's uncle immediately took my father to MA Jinnah road and after that my father guided him to the shop.. When they reached the shop, uncle asked the shop owner, do you know <my grandfather's name>? he said, yes.. Uncle asked, do you remember how much he (my grandfather) owed him? He said 50 Rupees.. (50 Rupees was a huge amount at that time). The owner asked why the uncle was asking.. Uncle narrated the whole account.. and tried to give him the money as instructed in the dream.. He denied accepting this money.. but after so much hesitation and denial, he finally accepted..

I didn't want to narrate it here as I don't consider it paranormal..

then they went to a hindu yogi maharaj.. who told. them to be calm and said it will. go away within 4-5 years.. and bingo it did!!

fast forward 20 years... she is married to a doctor!! i attended the wedding

i just dont want to flamebait my muslim and other abrahamic faith brothers.. but I just cant believe we cant have a rebirth....
