Well, many who are able to move their business from Karachi to Lahore are moving, but not all have luxury to leave your business, jobs, homes, and come to a city where there are less opportunities.

I don't know who created Haqiqi and who create Muthida, but I heard Althaf killed many mahajirs, which break this party into two. And in 90s MQM consumed Haqiqi. (PS: I only heard from the people who were living there), and I only knows two operations of Army in Karachi against MQM & Haqiqi. BB constructed first in 88, and NS followed same in 92 to bring peace back in Karachi.

Bhai, Lahore is not my city, neither Karachi is, My luck is moving so I am also moving city to city. & yes you love your city more then any other cities. I remember, When I went to Karachi there was a guy who said Karachi is the best city in whole Pakistan. Lahore is the village, bla bla. I asked him a small question, "Yeh kaisa shehar hey, purray Pakistan main kuch b ho, Karachi badh ho jatta hey, barish ho tu ghar jannay ki tension, signal main rukko tu robbery ki tension, kaisay rehtay ho?". He replied: " These all things make Life Exciting. What will be the life without tension." Today, same guy is living in Lahore with his family, without all those tensions.

Yes, I heard from my Mamu, Karachi was one of the best city of Pakistan in 80s, it was safe, it was better standard then all other cities of Pakistan, but then in 86, Muthida vs Haqqi conflict start. And whole city was ruined,

I spend my whole life in Mardan, and if I get even very less pay in Mardan, I will love get settled. But this will not change the fact how much racists Pathans are. How I spend my whole life under continue pressure of Punjabi living with them. But still I love mardan, it's food, it's weather, & ofcourse my PRs.

All these status quo parties - PPP PMLN MQM have militant wings, are associated with criminals or have an excellent record of terrorism. Remember AL-Zulfiqar in case of PPP. It hijacked a PIA plane.
