PMLN has been prioritising roads, buses and trains. The reason is because they benefit greatly from the construction contracts and kickbacks since much of the steel and concrete comes from their businesses. While a good government would prioritise health and education and basic amenities such as drinking water/sanitation.

A mega project like Metro is pointless since it is only operating due to Government subsidies. The moment the subsidy is removed it will die a quick death sinking all of the taxpayers money with it.

Goon league has failed to provide citizens with the basics even after many years in power in Punjab. PTI has only been in power for 1 term in KPK and has already improved the police and is improving education. With more funding I reckon they would improve the drinking water and sanitation quickly.

You are right about curroption and kickbacks part.
I can even understand about having slightly different priorities.
What I don't understand is that why some PTI fanboys all together reject the concept of infrastructure development and transportation just because their opponent party has prioritize it? The opponent party's fanboys also do the same to the billion tree project(which is amazing btw).
That's wrong attitude and should be avoided.

Obviously infrastructure needs to be built but PMLN has almost entirely focused on these so called 'Mega projects' to gain votes when such projects are not something which the public are in great need of. What is needed is to provide the basics first like clean drinking water and a working sewerage system and more medical facilities in rural areas.Roads and bridges can be built concurrently.
I live in a village in Punjab and all the nearest towns lack water supplies or proper drainage systems. If someone gets ill then the nearest hospital is 20 miles away. Basically you are a gonner if you had an emergency like a heart attack.

The PPP and PMLN failed to deliver the basic facilities for the last 70 years and even now show no indication that they will focus on them in the near future. Instead they have sank huge amounts of tax payers money into the Metro and Orange train projects which are only surviving on Government subsidies.
Only PTI appears to be making it their goal to focus on health and education and amenities.

The 100 day plan from PTI has no value because in KPK their promises for the first 90 days of their tenure (Ehtisab Commission) remain unfulfilled even after 1800+ days and counting.

Suppose you have 50 rupees, and you are sick. Doctors fees is 50 Rupees and an ice cream costs 50 Rupees as well. Will you spend 50 Rs on ice cream or get yourself checked?
