PM Imran should remove incompetent legal advisors: Dr Shahid Masood

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan should sacked the members of his legal team as they did not even have basic understanding about invoking the articles of the Constitution.

Talking on GNN’s show ‘Live with Dr Shahid Masood, he while referring to the prime minister’s statement about initiating treason trial of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Article 6 of the Constitution was invoked against someone for conspiracy against state and not the government.

“Farogh Naseem, Ali Zafar and Babar Awan are wise lawyers but I am unable to understand who is giving legal advices to the prime minister,” Masood said.

He added that the opposition used to conspire against the government but this act did not come under the Article 6.
