PM Imran Khan’s fiery response to Shehbaz Sharif during joint Parliament session | 6 August 2019

It's embarassing.

Showbaz Sharif was taking digs at the PM, BabyBhutto was realing off the list of criminal buddies who couldn't make it today because they're in prison - there were walk outs, shouting, posturing and our PM made a lovely speech fit for the Oxford Union or as an OP-ED in the Guardian newspaper.
So now you know their faces and true motives...

.
Shahbaz sharif ne kaha "we have to go at any extend" PM Imran khan ne pocha k kia mai hamla krdo, ap mujhe batain k mai ne kia nhi kia jo nhi kia ap mujhe suggestion dain mai kro ga. Shahbaz sharif replied: mai ne hamla krny ka nhi kaha..

Ab mera opposition se sawal ye hai k "go to at any extend" ka kia matlb howa?

Or opposition ki suggestions kiya hain?

suggestion dena tuo dour ki baat ye opposition is moqay per bhi political cards play kr rhi hai.

Hmm...but he cant afford to do that...in fact it would be foolish on his part if he. threatens india on an amendent of an article( the article was made by india and repealed by india)..the whole world sees it as an internal matter of india...issuing such threats will leave pakistan in a bad light.

Well actually he can.

Parts 1 and 2 are not linked to any threat, they are statements, meant to show disagreement with India's actions and we all know will never be acted upon.

Part 3 is the one everyone actually is bothered about. That threat should be make and should be acted upon at whatever cost.

Regards to what the international community might think, we differ on this. Firstly Pakistan argues and the UN resolutions support our position that Kashmir is an internationally recognised territorial dispute, not an internal Indian affair. Of course that is the Indian stance and one they are putting out there and is being adopted by some nations who are allies of India.

Secondly, i don't really care what the international community thinks. We need to make an honest open threat about the red line of ethnic cleansing of my people. Not only is it the humane thing to do, it's stratetically imperative to Pakistan. No Kashmiris = no Kashmir cause.

No it isn't, its international matter and both article are done in light of international laws and approval of govt of Pakistan.

Who is carrying out ethnic cleansing man? Dont be blinded by emotions...no indian will go to kashmir and settle there just because it is made a UT...nobody loves to live in a hostile environment.
This article is repealed to bring prosperity to the valley by allowing outside investments and businesses ( so that militancy can be contained) and also keeping the internal security in view.
We have 28 states without any articles like 370..is there any case of any ethnicity being wiped off by any other community? That doesnt happen.another point to be noted is kashmir is not a place with lots of job opportunities...it doesnt offer much for anyone to go and settle there.
You may not think of what international community think ..but a PM of a country cant think like you especially when his economy is in doldrums and he is going around the world for help ..

Ok...best of luck..pressurise your govt to wage a war on india..if he doesnt heed to your words, bring him down by a peoples movement.

Here is my conclusion. Opposition still playing political cards on this crucial matter. Opposition on ground Dont have any suggestion yet regarding kashmir. On the other end Govt is reaching to international community & trying to convey the message.

If its a "mole hill" then why revoke it in the first place?

.
Completely honestly.

I wanted to hear 3 things;

1. That India should revoke the changes it made to the legal status of Kashmir.
2. That India should remove the forces it has occupying Kashmir.
3. That any attempt to ethnically cleanse the Kashmiri population or forcibly change the demographic of Kashmir would lead to military intervention from Pakistan.

I don't want him to go to war, I want him to state point 3 and stand by it.

I also want him to give the ISI the go head to fund proxy wars in India and support Kashmiri freedom fighters with arms, money and training. Of course this part I would like done completely privately and for all I know is already happening, though I suspect not.
Regarding one and two, this has been the stated position of Pakistan. Currently India is in denial mode and they will go against it.
Regarding 3 you can say it but are you in a position to follow it through. The answer probably is No. I am sorry to have to say this but you just cannot say something like that on a public forum. This woud be considered state sponsored terrorism and blackmail. The Indians qill just use it as an excuse to divert the attention away from the Kashmir situation. In many ways you will play right into their hands and their current standing means you will lose whatever little support you have internationally.
My own thinking is that for the moment till such time India actually attacks Pakistan itself( and I hate myself for saying this as it is my Muslim brothers that are suffering in Kashmir) we need to keep all of our paws including the ISIones which you have suggested near us. The way to play this is to malign India 9n international Fora and internationally by sending delegations and put joint statements out. Take it to UN AND IF POSSIBLE to international court of Justice. This would give us moral victory and keep our hands clean till such time that India in its desperation attacks Pakistan which we should be preparing for
The struggle of the Kashmiri people needs to remain an insidious struggle in response to occupying forces brhtality and this should be emphasizes on all possible fora. The struggle needs to come from the Kashmiri people. Their blood and sweat is what will gain them victory not the support overt or covert from the outside world.
As mentioned before this is a very painful situation as most Pakistanis feel helpless in front of this naked aggression from India.

It is well past time that Pakistan should examine its current position and future path in this matter anew, otherwise past performances will continue to guarantee future results.

Give the track record of Indian security forces in Kashmir I'm not optomisitic. 70,000 have been killed since 1989, rape and blinding has been used as a military tactic, there are mass graves. This is not the scenario in any of your other 28 states - none of them have this history.

Most importantly, none of the other 28 states have a population where a significant amount of people want independence. There are seperatist movements all over India but most are limited to the members participating in them. None of them have the same level support as the Kashmir movement does where a majority of the population support it.

Given these condition, i fear we might well see ethnic cleansing at worst, and at least a forced change of the demographics.

Put yourself in the shoes of your leadership. This is a cast iron opportunity to end the Kashmir dispute.

1. Roll in security to control desenters.
2. Slowly bring in jobs and economic opportunity.
3. With the jobs and economic opportunity bring in hindu population.
4. This will cause ethnic violence which gives scope for more security.
5. Discriminate against local population, bring in larger numbers of hindu population with offer of jobs and homes.

This is demographic change. Slowly the new community is backed by cow lynching types - slowly but surely Kashmir becomes unsafe for Kashmiri's, some people fight, others move.

Give it 20-30 years , no more dispute, not enough Kashmiri's left to fight for it.
