@xeuss - Perhaps there is still hope? :)

Pakistanis, you need to act a bit faster. Once the CAA and NRA comes into full force, these things will remain on the paper and be only of academic interest.

Ideally every single Muslim majority region of India should get a fresh mandate to merge with Pakistan or carve its own identity on its own without depending on the Hindus or Sikhs to define it for them.

Fair to say Imran Khan has single handedly changed Pakistan's long standing stance, now it's more of an expansionist policy than the original policy surrounding Kashmir and Kashmiris alone. It's a welcome move as far as India is concerned. The once strong policy for Kashmir and Kashmiris is now diluted. Furthermore, keeping a boundary open with China that Pakistan fought many wars for and protested all along suddenly seems to be a glorious waste! No moral grounds left now. India will love this!
On the contrary, this strengthens Pakistan's claim of being the Muslim nation of South Asia. or the Muslim nation of India (in the geographical sense).

India claims territories of Jammu and Kashmir in it's entirety ..regard less of weather Pakistan is occupying it or the Chinese.

Comes with lots of caveats and flip side...like India is showing the AJK and GB region of Pakistan in Indian maps but the ground reality is that these territories are under Pak control...this suggests how hapless and weak India is to get areas shown in their maps back through force.

It gives connotations of a weak India...and a strong Pakistan, militarily.

Muslim majority or erstwhile Muslim majority.
But since Jinnah and the ML accepted the partition plan, I don't see how Pakistan can re-open claims to those territories.

Junagadh, Jammu & Kashmir - Pakistan has the accession for the former and UNSC Resolutions for the latter.

.
A united Punjab and Bengal is what Jinnah wanted but was not accepted by the British or Congress. Jinnah and the Muslim League accepted that partition plan and therefore Pakistan has no legal standing to claim 'the rest of Punjab'.

Why does Pakistan have no legal standing when the source of the British/Congress "legal standing" is a farse???

In that Case the rest of India should have also been carved out between muslim/non muslim majority zones. In this world legal standings are made by the truth and valid points.

Great move by Pakistan on the new map, the only way Kashmir issue will be resolved is through military means. Diplomatic talks on resolving the issue is very highly unlikely.

.
Pakistan isn't interested in claiming waste land Aksai Chin. We only care about Kashmiri people. What India claim and then surrender in humiliating way to China is of no concern to us.
Pakistan will follow the UNSC Resolutions on plebiscite and the final demarcation of the border with China will done through negotiations between China and India or China and Pakistan, depending on the plebiscite results.

The British, Pakistan and India agreed to the partition plan - what legal basis do you think we could use to re-open claims to territories other than J&K and Junagadh?

The elongated not that wide geography of Pakistan makes it geo-strategic position very strong. Covers all of India on one side and that makes India inaccessible to Central Asian states...Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey...and all of Europe through land route.

-At the same time it need more strategic depth, need to get hold of Pashtun belt of Afghanistan, or turn Af-Pak into a confederation.

- The open ended Kashmir side means more areas are up for grabs for Pakistan(and India too)...here China support is immensely needed.

-The open ended Kashmir also means it is a disputed territory and unlike India Pakistan believe in UNSC resolutions and that Pak is well aware of its disputed position, here India looks more like an expansionist colonizing power, on land grabbing spree.

And how many people here know that Pakistan has the steepest gradient in the world...the highest point, K-2 and other mountain ranges of Himalayas, Karakorum, Hindu Kush in the Northern region...to the lowest terrain in the Arabian sea at Sindh and Balochistan at the Southern side...

The reason Pakistan is so rich in different Climatic Zones with 14 climate zones...

Haha I Can see how much India is loving it. I can feel the pain and agony. India wants Kashmir issue to be suppressed and stay away from lime light, while Pakistan keeps on bringing it to every forum on the world.
