Army need not get involved. Strict enforcement can be done by police. The SMART LOCKDOWN worked wonders the first time around and was praised the world around. Smart lockdowns should be implemented via IT systems and apps made for the general public.

In the meantime army health research/Govt should work on a wars footing to build up a massive covid vaccine infrastructure. Our vaccination efforts are abysmal. Call in Chinese experts if required. If we start focusing on this now we can produce many millions vaccines in house within 6 months, but it needs to start now. Concurrently vaccination procurements should be stepped up 50 fold.

so we return to my original point. The people are not following SOP's. Stop trying to idiotically make it your primary strategy, it will not happen. Start acting like the sage that he claims to be and enforce the lockdown instead. It has already shown to work in the country. Then when the numbers go back down, keep enforcing the SOP's. Don't forget about them like he did the last time, only to wake up to their "importance" again when we are already in the middle of a surge

Govt (of any country) can prevent the citizens from possible contraction of virus by blocking all the places that may pose as transit stations for covid like Schools, marriage halls, community centers etc. But it can not afford to block the whole engine. There is a reason even US is not implementing complete lockdown instead they are implementing "restrictions". Same as Pakistan is doing.

When you are young, you are educated by your parents/teachers on how to behave, what to do when wake up, how to brush teeth, how to wear and what to wear. How to stand in line and wait for for your turn, how to keep hygiene etc etc. Then you learn on your own partially what to keep in pocket/wallet/purse and which places to visit and which one to avoid for whatever reasons and if visit whhen to go to avoid rush etc.

Now with pandemic, you just have to follow basic SOP's. That's it. This is our new norm. Get used to it already.

Exactly, Covid is just asking us to keep ourselves clear , and keep distant from those who are feeling sick, i mean isn't that common sense? What's worse is that after millions of people already dead from Covid, some idiots still believe it to be a hoax and conspiracy theory, people are still refusing vaccines and not wearing masks, people needs to understand that they might have to keep mask for a long time, with vaccinations been taken every year .

I've had my first Pfizer vaccine shot a week ago, i have no reaction or felt anything wrong, i am waiting for my next dose and Inshallah everything will go smooth, Please take Vaccination people, keep the SOP and save lives.

We need to understand that people in general are now suffering Corona Pandemic fatigue ..... during first and second wave there were a sizeable population who were practising SOP but now after more than 1 year people are just fed up with Corona ....

It is effecting the income and business of all segment in the society mostly in negative manner while increasing the financial burden on many due to SOPs ....

What here necessary is to stop/ban entry from other countries rather to impose complete lock down, we know second wave came in Pakistan from UK .... through those British-Pakistanis who were visiting Pakistan, but rather to stop movement at border Government is seeking to implement lock down which this time may result as failure.

Point to be noted! How did they manage to get through, when pre-flight tests were mandatory?

Btw, why isnt GoP asking the UK govt to justify its biased actions against Pakistanis, whereas India that has a much more severe crisis at hand ,is given carte blanche?

wait just wait few more weeks vaccine will be flooded in june .i take on 22 march my next dose is soon . i am planning to take every 6 moths now
