Prime Minister Imran Khan has emphasized that no effort will be spared for national security and sovereignty.

He made the remarks during his visit to ISI headquarters in Islamabad today along with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The Prime Minister appreciated the sacrifices and tireless efforts of the Inter Service Intelligence Agency.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister was given a comprehensive briefing encompassing complex regional and domestic challenges with special focus on Pakistan's efforts for restoration of peace and stability.

Federal Ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar and Special Assistant on National Security Moeed Yousuf were present on the occasion.

Earlier, Lieutenant General ISI Faiz Hamid received the Prime Minister on his arrival at the ISI headquarters.

((( Do these visits have a serious purpose ?

Do these visits have a serious purpose ?
With FM and Asad Umar its seems really serious

Well best to be ready

I don't recall previous Pakistan PMs visiting ISI HQ so often. What is with PMIK and these frequent visits? Its surely symbolic of something important otherwise the ISI Chief could easily visit the PM house and brief him about whatever. )))

((( Software updated. New Anti opposition app uploaded.
Also last warning issued to fix the economy.)))

((( ISI HQ is the new PM House.

why PM Imran Khan not using mask? He is only good leader we have for now. He wants to leave us hanging like Quaid-e-Azam left us just after one year of independence :( )))

How to tackle Indian terrorism inside Kashmir and Pakistan should trump any other issue. We can only do so much diplomatically, its time for real action. The situation between China and India needs to be reassessed and how Pakistan can take advantage of it if it further escalates. Taking Kashmir back should be the priority.

This is 2nd visit to ISI headquarters in one and a half month.

PTI govt has dragged army too much into civilian matters. This probably has to do with covid 19 and ISI software or a briefing on rival politicians.
He is not going to ISI headquarters to get briefing on ISI use of software or its progress or of COVID19. For that NCTOC is already working. These are for security matters

On 6 june Lt.Gen level meeting will be held btw both parties china n india.as per news after that we can see whole picture whether we r going towards war or india becomes disciplined

PDF gets bored of the PM visitng the ISI office but never gets bored of dreaming about new constitutions and Pakistan getting Su-35s, J10s, J,16s, aircraft carriers and Turkish drones and 5th gen fighters.

That aside, this is national security related and not Covid related.

Visit he ho raha hain, amli tor per to kuch nazar nahi ahh raha, IK government is too defensive whereas we should be on the offensive. In sa to aik bayan nahi diya ja raha kah if the world does not do something we will do it on our own. Is tara ka statement dena sa in ka to kuch nahi jai ga but India aik dafa rattled zaroor ho jai ga.

Why in the world is our army chief wearing a mask? Does he not Trust Allah and His Verses?
Why do you Lock your vehicle when you park it? Or lock your home when you leave it? Do you not Trust Allah and His Verses?

There's something fishy about you...

I will second that. Wish I could give a -ve rating on such immature comments.

I will secong that.
I have only read like 2 or 3 of his comments and already could smell a rat. Can't believe the admins haven't gotten a hold.of him yet. His demeanour is suspicious in a mocking way

PM @ImranKhanPTI visited headquarters of Inter Services Intelligence, #ISI, and received a briefing “encompassing complex regional and domestic challenges with special focus on #Pakistan efforts for restoration of peace and stability”: says PM office. https://t.co/c4uCsM3F1H
No doubt we are living in the most complex of time. When only carona but our most dear neighbour is trying to ambitions, for 2 reasons. 1 to hide failure and to make sure these issue goes a long way.
2 for their twisted religious beliefs.
No doubts issues with China is also complicated.
USA is in chaos itself along with all p7.
The pandemic is loose on the world.
Indeed most difficult times.

Khan’s visits to ISI HQ seem more out of implementing a communication security regimen than anything else. I am guessing PM house doesn’t have a safe room.
