PM‚ German Chancellor discuss bilateral relations

German Chancellor Angela Merkel telephoned Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif today (Thursday) and discussed relations between the two countries.


The two leaders also discussed ways and means to promote cooperation in diverse fields.


Angela Merkel also invited the Prime Minister to visit Germany.

Does this have anything to do with killing of supposed 'German' Jihadists in yesterday's Army action in Tribal areas? I would guess that there must have been some mention of this issue. It could also be an expression of German interest in Pakistan's economy which is expected to pick up pace and grow faster in the coming months and years.
