It's true.
Two things changed my view on the whole Indian-Pakistan thing:
1.The countless idiotic, just retarded comments I started seeing on the internet after about 10 years ago.
And the fact that they were everywhere. On social media,in movies and TV series (although I like Rajesh from The Big Bang Theory),making youtube "military" videos, the phone scammer centers that people post videos about on youtube as well...
But to be fair,I found a lot of Banglas acting like that on FB.
2.My friend from Karachi,I consider him more like an internet brother right now,he talked to me for years about all the lies and propaganda the Indians are doing and I saw with my eyes, that they are lying a lot. Their reporters, politicians, their government is full of lies.
And I realized that Pakistan and Greece are not disimilar. Both are countries with a bigger enemy to the east of them,an enemy with much bigger population, economy and landscape, with big minorities they often persecute. Both have populations that had to come to the "motherland" from said enemy countries, after a population exchange. We had the Greeks of Anatolia in the early 1920s and you had the Muhajirs. And they both have governments that produce fake news often, for consumption of the masses of uneducated, poor or ultranationalist.
Also both countries have Americans as allies, who often take the side of their rival countries, sometimes treat them as less than allies and often the public sentiment goes against these western allies' meddling in the Middle-East and elsewhere.
