PINDAD PM2-V1 submachine gun
PINDAD PM2-V2 submachine gun
PINDAD PM2 submachine gun was designed by Indonesian arms manufacturing company PT PINDAD in around 2007, and is produced by the same company. PM2 submachine gun is produced in several versions, and is in limited use with Indonesian law enforcement and military.
PINDAD PM2 submachine gun is a simple blowback operated, select-fire weapon that fires from closed bolt. Its receiver and overall layout is based on the PINDAD SS2 assault rifle, and it shares same hammer-fired trigger unit and three-position manual safety / elector lever. Upper and lower receiver parts are made from aluminum alloy and connected by cross pins. Standard version, which is designated PM2-V1, features either a fixed polymer stock or a side-folding metallic stock. Integrally suppressed version is designated as PM2-V2 and usually is fitted with side-folding stock. Most modern variation of the PM2 family is PM2-V12 submachine gun, fitted with new furniture and integrated Picatinny rail on the top. All versions are equipped with iron sights, and use double stack, double feed detachable box magazines.
