I know my aukat - I am an ordinary Pakistani who call spade a spade. You won't find a single post of mine vindicating a political party on ethnic basis, unlike you. My be you should review your understanding of the term racism. My personal ethnicity is irrelevant, so please don't waste your energy on proving it here. It is like a New MQM has taken birth after the devastation it suffered.

Looks like Altaf's Achilles heel is been identified in UK and with the help of UK, Authorities are gaining control on his actions. His party leadership also become week in Karachi.

When Parties become out of control or contradicting with National Interests, Authorities do this kind of operations to bring them under control.

On one side they are disciplining political parties and on the other side they are following two pronged approach against militants, peace initiative and military operation, who are wrecking havoc in Karachi.

Problem for authorities in Pakistan is that political parties in their country have their key leadership in foreign countries and some times these political leaders also implement foreign agenda of Middle east and Western countries.

So to keep them under control the authorities also have to deal with the networks in the foreign countries.

Some interesting drama is being played in Pakistan.

1) Making Musharaf a legitimate player in Pakistan politics. There is a whole lot of propaganda and actions that are being carried out in support of him.

2) Frontier areas are given importance, PTI is playing a key role in bringing militants to peace process and on the other hand Military is eliminating key targets in TTP and other militant groups. Some subversive tactic are being played to bring division among the ranks of these Militants groups.

3) Balouchistan is a sensitive issue and so Pakistan is taking support of China for development and making it a key stake holder in that province.

It seems Pakistani authorities are using Multi headed Democratic system effectively.

It is not good to alienate MQM or its workers, this will only make things difficult for the peace initiatives.
