The man in the pic is Sanatan Das, from Hajo Assam, he used to work as labourer in a factory, but after lockdown,he had taken to selling vegetables on his bicycle to combat the financial difficulties. Yesterday he had argument with Faijul Hoque in the Road after his cycle brushed against a scooter.

After argument Faijul called his friends Shabir Ali, Yusuf Ali and Firzahan Ali and they assaulted the Man and beat him to death.

This is not "lynching" because the victim is a Hindu.
