Doubt it. Too expensive at over 150 million a pop. Besides, the US and India do not exactly trust each other. India's population is enormous, could be a major challenger to America's global position.

$150 Million is nothing for IAF... for 5th Gen.

No no I meant in todays world US doesnt need it and yea the shoot down. But that comment is rather in light of my fascination for the A 10 rather than U-2 bashing. ( I also knew endless missions the U-2 flew, no one can forget its value in Cuban missile crisis or is it some other plane>?)
