PayPal to launch services in Bangladesh 19 Oct

Sorry to inform you that we have been duped again by Awami liar. I should have known better. Silly me.

Apparently it is Xoom service not the PayPal. As far I know Pakinstan and India already use Xoom services. So we are not only lagging but far far behind from our neighbors when comes to technology.

too late. it opened in sri lanka in 2001

PayPal is cr@p, damn expensive, quit using it ages ago

whats the alternative?

My point exactly....:coffee:

You have to have the trust factor to both buyer and seller. And Paypal has that in spades...

eBay = PAYPAL

Wire transfer is best, alternatively you can use a payment gateway with acceptable fees. Parting with 3-4% of money earned is nonsense. Many a times I do take initial or first payment through PayPal and once you have the required repo with the client ask him to wire you the money.

I heard in it's initial days pay pal launched it's service in Pakistan but soon stopped it because of scammy people here.

in india you can pay cash on delivery if you dont want to pay using card... two platforms flipkart and amazon have solid trust among people.
paypal itself cant solve trust problem completely if you dont have a trading platform like amazon or ebay.

Well you have a point.

You need both reliable seller and payment channels.

Payment by cash demand on delivery has been there in Bangladesh for some forty years. But Amazon is yet to make inroads.

Someday....

i was specifically talking about buying "online" from a third party supplier , that you dont know about (based on trust on platform and reviews) getting it delivered and paying to the platform...

this has solved the credit card/debit card issue in India... (even paypal)..
