Yes dear, I know about the very recent WB data. But then, there is a difference between 31.5% and 25%.
As far as being the poverty rate in India going between 32%-77%, those are wild numbers. And come from multiple sources using different criteria.

So, we can't really say if those numbers are reliable. For now, we'll just rely on WB data. So for now, poverty in India is at 25%.
Nonetheless, Bangladesh still has the highest poverty as a percentage of the population in South Asia alone according to WB data, ignoring Afghanistan (since there is a war going on there). Much of that population consists of children. So, there is a lot of room for improvement.
And if you were paying attention, this thread is about paying for anti-seperatist drives, not Indian poverty vs. Bangladeshi poverty.
