Any U.S. sanctions against Russia will play into the hands of Russia. This will help solve question with the liberal fifth column, will strengthen the power of Putin and go to state reforms.
If Iran or Northen Korea survive under sanctions - Russia will too.

Russia and China stick together to fight against the US dollar, such little sanction won't hurt us.

And China will not allow EU vs Russia with USA stands aside as a bystander.

Because the US set up this to cause the tension between EU and Russia that would result the capital following back the US, so China will not let the US got what they want.

Russia will take on Ukraine and EU will demand a peaceful negociation, but there will be no war in Europe.
