FOUNTAINS
Muslims throughout the world and Pakistanis in particular LOVE Fountains, so its deserving to have a dedicated thread to showcase the history and variety of 'fountains' in Pakistan.

Fountains serve many purposes in urban, rural and educational settings. Intellectuals, love birds, families and broken-hearts are all pulled towards them. They also could make commuters relax a bit when witnessed on roundabouts etc.

So here is a tribute to FOUNTAINS!

we have no iconic fountains .............off all the pictures only faisal masjid even compares to somewhat a fountain .......
i have seen fountains made in personal homes more grand them this ..........and don't even think of comparing them to Europe or something and insult them ............these road side fountains don't count as monuments .....thought the historic fountains in colleges and shahi fort and shalimar fort is great but we have done every thing we can to destroy them ......we have destroyed the water station of our shalimar gardens for our metro train ........our shalimar garden fountains would be magical if it were revived but we are hell bent on destroying them ........
