Hope they work on this soon coz this is the need of the hour!

Seeing current development; all I can say that there is a lot on cards to be done and current Government seems be serious on various issues as such. Also, PTI led government cannot afford any failure in development for which, vast majority voted IK. Hope that Pakistan will progress.

I think somewhere I read that they will use treated water for irrigation...I was shocked when I read that...they "will now use" meaning previously they used FRESHWATER for irrigation?! No wonder our water table sank so badly and we are in a water crisis...

In European homes we use treated water not every European country can use freshwater in their homes!

We have a number of problems:

Previous bills/ laws are all outdated and not based on research....Example as I said Pakistan uses FRESHWATER to irrigate MOST if not all of its fields hence why farmers are always tied to rain and weather instead of using treated water....THIS option maybe expensive but it will save our water for future generation and ensure continuous produce...which in the long run hopefully minimizes import of crops that we can easily grow....

secondly lack of education....how to explain to people not to waste water?! I have tried this with our home made...The lady throws enough water to wash the garage that can be used to irrigate a small field and she floods our garden because the garage water has to go somewhere....I tried every method from save water, country losing water to even KHUDA KA KHOUFF KERO lecture to no avail!

Interesting enough I found similar behaviours in educated side of family -washing a car with enough water to feed several buffaloes for weeks?!

The concept of conservation is 1 concept that no matter how "imported" (gora) a Pakistani sounds or tries to be...cant seem to digest! :close_tema:

can we stop shekhs now for hunting
They will always manage to pay some corrupt officer and get their ways...UNTIL and unless we have a strong bill against hunting....They want to hunt they need to get pass, pay for breeding programs of the same species and be only allowed to hunt once every 5 yrs when the bred babies are big enough...Something along those lines probably might stick

I am super excited to see this government function the way US government sorta functions where senate and parliamentary (congressional) committees actually have the bureaucracy reporting to them, or government official reporting and real progress is made and measured. I think every member who wants to make an impact and is true to the profession will enjoy working with this government.

Admireable Initiative by the government.

I hope educational Programs are launched to educate the people about the fawna of Pakistan and how basic consevation can be on grass roots level. Pakistanis are nature loving people who mostly live with " One with Nature " philosophy.

Jobs can be created by this which is always Welcome.

But please do not make Tourism the source of learning as it has major consequences due to lack of knowledge.

In India 23% of the total landmass covered with forest with vast wild life species like Elephants,Tigers(75% of world's population of tiger is in India),king cobras, lions etc...while pakistan only 3% with no major animal species which i mentioned in wild !!! Pakistan have to improve a lot....

well Geography also plays a major role in that Genius, I mean where did u drop in with these stupid stats? Yes Pakistan needs to improve the management and take care of its wildlife and its conservation but don't drop in with Indian numbers as high number of the tigers and cobras and elephants is because of geography.

Save our balochistan black bear in the forest of ziarat.
The forest end till akistan border so the bear cannot go to Afghanistan or iran. I wonder if they exist anymore?
Please they are the only type of black bear with white patch on their chest. Indigenous to Pakistan.
And himaliyan brown bear in deosai are also endangered. They are a smaller and cuter version of grisly bear. Native only to Pakistan, China, kashmir and in Pakistan deosai is their largest feeding ground. Which is now invaded by humans who graze their animals.
Our white leopard needs saving.
Thousand of migratory birds come from siberia and Russia. They are not coming due to non avaalibility of ponds and lakes dried up.
Thousands of indigenous birds are dying out.
Sand cats in balochistan are very very rare animal.
Pallas cat is very rare cat.
Both cats are indegenious to Pakistan. They are found abroad in zoos and they care for them so Much. While we don't even know they are indegenious ous to Pakistan.
Pangolin are now a rarity, we need a wildlife park for them.
And and specially sea turtles are sold for few rupees to kids and as soon as they reach home and put them in freshwater, they die.
And billions of new turtle hatchling are killed. Hunchback turtles which are now extint in wild, 3 or some left are seen in balochistan cost.
