Pakistani student scores gold at international math competition
Lahore-based math prodigy Syed Jaffar Raza has scored a gold medal at an international math competition. Raza, an exceptional student, was one of six Pakistani students who won laurels at the international competition. The event was organised at Bangkok’s Pan-Asia International School. Over 600 students participated in the competition. 180 teams from 17 countries competed at the event.
“The global competition has highlighted Pakistani students’ talent. It has also presented them a chance to excel,” math teacher Zehra Nayyar said.
Previously, Jamshoro’s Rajneesh Bhatti also scored gold at the event. The international competition is organised to promote excellence in maths and critical thinking.
