TOPI DRAMA!!!

Nothing is going to happen, muk muka b/w political parties has happened and the caretaker government won't do anything either.

Pervez Musharraf has ran away to his house, route in place, jammer behind him, no problem at all.

A reporter on GEO saying that it was due to security issue and now the authorities are proposing Musharraf's house as a temporary jail. Security ka mamla bhi hal, aur jail bhi (well sort of).

BTW, did anybody see Hamid Mir and Pervez Rasheed, Hamid Mir saying that muk muka has happened because of foreign powers, Pervez Rasheed blabbering around.

Returning to Pakistan is proving to be a real bad decision..Na yaar mila na deedare sanam, na yaha ke rahe na waha ke

............. haha... o yar he is under treason trial... what worse can happen??

now he is an absconder, more dangerous than ever, Court should order shot and terminate him at sight as he holds national secrets

No not at all. yesterday he was bailed out in BB case and also his absconding tag was removed.

this is funny that lawyers are taking personal revenge.

anyway the judges dint order arrest of Nawaz Sharif for attack on SC.

That will be fine and justified if he resists arrests, however, I'm talking about post arrest, he shouldn't be kept exposed. National security will be highly compromised.

he remained out of the country for a long time, may have already done that...

Islamabad: Former Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf left a court in Islamabad quickly today to avoid being arrested after his arrest was ordered.

Mr Musharraf's personal security quickly escorted him away in his bullet-proof black SUV to an unknown location, according to local media.

The Islamabad High Court ordered the arrest of the former military ruler for sacking judges when in power in 2007.

The former army chief returned to Pakistan last month after nearly four years of self-imposed exile to contest a May 11 general election, despite the possibility of arrest on various charges and death threats from the Pakistani Taliban.

He wasn't kidnapped and was under security at all times without danger.

I hope there is no showdown.

Musharraf did not flee court, he will challenge arrest, says spokesman | Firstpost

The spokesman for Pervez Musharraf, Reza Bokhari has denied reports that the former dictator fled a Sindh courthouse after the judge cancelled his bail and ordered his arrest.

“He has not fled the court. He was escorted by a heavy establishment of Pakistani security. In the face of heightened security threat, it was enhanced. He has not fled from court, its a misrepresentation”, said Bokhari to CNN-IBN.

Bokhari also lambasted the decision by the lower court judge, saying that the court had clearly not ‘acted with wisdom’. “This I am sure has come as a surprise to him and his legal team. The court should have followed precedence. Musharraf will appeal against the verdict where the judge in his inferior wisdom has taken the decision”, he said.

“Musharraf’s next step is going to be in the confines of the law”, he added.

The former President will in all likelihood apply for bail in the Islamabad High Court.

His spokesman also denied speculation that Musharraf had returned to Pakistan under a deal.

The case in question is based on an FIR against the retired general registered in August 2009 on the complaint of Chaudhry Mohammad Aslam Ghumman advocate, according to Pakistani newspaper Dawn.

“He had asked the police to initiate legal proceedings against Musharraf for detaining over 60 judges, including Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, after proclamation of a state of emergency in the country on 3 November, 2007″, the report added.

It makes sense. The police there did not arrest him, he was free to go.

I think the court acted hastily by cancelling the bail. If all courts had granted him bail, what was the need to cancel bail? Every judge has this right, but it may be superseded by a higher level judge, which I think this will happen.

His wife has all the secretes n she is in UK.

I didn't mean he will be selling our secrets, I meant he may be kidnapped and tortured if left without appropriate security.
