In another achievement for Pakistan, bringing pride and honor to the country, a 12 years old student has been selected for an internship at NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration). The US Embassy Islamabad shared the news.
According to the statement issued, the young Pakistani student, Radeeyah Aamir, has been selected for one-week program which includes training for next-generation Astronaut Training Experience.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is an independent agency of the US government responsible for civilian space program as well as aeronautics and aerospace research. Having headquarters in Washington DC, established in 1958, NASA is known for the explorations beyond the boundaries of gravity and earth.
Hence an opportunity to learn from them, especially when Pakistan has little to no room for it and pays no attention to providing a platform for the youth interested in the field, it indeed is an amazing opportunity for Radeeyah.
Announcing and appreciating her, the embassy shared her achievement with a hastag ”FutureAstronaut”.

This came soon after another Pakistan made another commendable achievement. Back in January this year, three students of the space science department at IST (Institute of Space Technology) from Islamabad received international acclaim for their research on super-massive black holes and galaxy collisions in space.
Their report garnered a lot of appreciation and attention. As per the reports, the findings of the report have been lauded ‘outstanding’ by experts belonging to the field under consideration.
