A Pakistani family cut short its Mumbai trip after being refused accommodation by several hotels in the city following which they spent the night on a pavement.

The Pakistani family of around five members arrived in Mumbai to visit the Haji Ali shrine.

“After being with our relatives in Jodhpur for over a week, we decided to visit the Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai for ziyarat (prayers). We arrived in Mumbai on the morning of 14 October, went to the shrine and returned from there after prayers,” said Noor Banu, who had come to India with her brother Inayat Ali (55), nephew Shakeel Ahmed, two other women and a seven-year-old boy.

Their ordeal began soon as they were refused accommodation by several lodges and hotels which they approached in South Mumbai.

“The only reason for refusal by lodges and hotels was that they (hotels) didn’t t want to complete the formality of filling Form-C, which is to be submitted to a government department if people from outside the country come to the city on visa and stay in their lodges and hotels,” said RPF sub-inspector Mahesh Chauhan, who helped the family in their time of distress.

“They also said that the owners of the lodges and hotels told them that they were very small establishments and have no manpower to do the extra work of filling and submitting the Form-C,” he said.

After checking and verifying the family’s documents, Chauhan took them to a cabin at Mumbai Central Police Station, located just outside the railway station, and told them to rest for some time, besides offering them tea and snacks.

The family stayed near the police cabin till 1-1.30 AM yesterday, Chauhan said.

Before heading back to Jodhpur they waited for the train on the footpath outside the station.

. . . . .
I don't complain about India since it's the way they treat guest but I have question for Pakistanis. Is there no shrine in Pakistan? Why you are going to such dengerous country? What if they label one of your male family member as ISI agent and lock him up? Plz refrain from visiting India.

It's time to cut all kind of family relations with India. Pakistani Govt should discourage marriages b/w Pakistani and Indian Muslims community.

Serve them right. F haji ali shrine. No place for made in India religion in Pakistan. Either go to local shrines or Mecca.
Who taught you this language? You must be a secularist. You are a pathetic extremist whose purpose of existence is only to spread hatred and sectarianism.

TBH, he put his family into trouble for nothing... visiting a shrine is never worth it. It is not Mecca.
But it definitely exposes Gangadeshi culture and their hatred. And hence it should be noted by all Pakistanis especially those idiots get fooled by the media.

.
Good.
Hope they aren't thrown out of the hospital ance they reach there.
Might depend on their behaviour... but if you fear that then I believe they should not come in the first place then....
Why come to India...? Go to Turkey or Malaysia

.
Only an absolute idiot would put they family through such a terrible experience by visiting such a terrible nasty country called India. India is literally the Defecation King.

Keep abising... Meanwhile...

Check out @GautamGambhir’s Tweet:

This is hilarious...how quickly Gautam Gambhir the Pakistani hater and a xenophobic person, a Sanghi of sorts took on to Twitter to chest thump about it. How lopsided this was and full of bragging...as India has soft heart for a Pakistani child...there was no need for a tweet from GG at the first place except for snobbery.

Check Gautam G Tweets full of hatred against Pakistan a known Pak hater.

And do check how much a Pakistani patient is charged for a treatment in India, and 50% is charged upfront, will be gone if visit is cancelled. It is called medical tourism and not some charity, and if this is charity it shouldn't be highlighted in the media, best charity is done discreetly.
