i asked you if you believe in freedom of speech… are there limits to freedom of speech in your definition??

There are limits to freedom of speech by every definition .

. .
do you believe in freedom of speech. Shall we debate on why I think the prophet is islam is not really so?
give me your personal email and we can debate.. religious discussion is banned on the forum.
i do believe in complete freedom of speech unlike you indians.
we can debate what ever you like btw… but be prepared when i drag hinduism through the bin as well.

.
Wtf are you talking about? In my experience from the mosque I attend which has many converts they fall into two categories, those who legitimately love God and convert because they legitimately believe (they usually get really emotional) and those who convert for marriage purposes. I don't want to pass judgement but imo the latter may not really be ardent believers although I have seen an instance where one such convert became really conservative over time. Conversions for a clean slate really do not happen, maybe in prisons for sure where I have heard of such cases amongst those who committed serious crimes.
I never denied that some one converts because he loves god but my point is as per your earlier quote that without pure love no convertion is legitemate..but on otherhand you say preaching about what you gain from converting is legitemate ..think deeply ..these two are opposits ...
If converting for gain is wrong then how preaching what will you gain from converting is good ?

.
what are the limits??
were the danish cartoons about prophet muhammed ok??

Depends on Danish Law . Just like freedom of speech in each country is controlled by it's country's law ( Even India and Pakistan ) .

Oh I see what you are saying now, anyway like I said it isn't but preaching itself varies. If you go to you tube and see some videos you will see that not every preacher says the same stuff. While one may mention the clean slate upon conversion another might not even bring it up at all unless asked. That is why I do not think it is necessarily wrong. Remember converting to any religion is actually a huge life choice and so the person converting will undoubtedly have questions concerning said conversion, I will give you an example from my mosque there was a white girl who wanted to convert but she told the Imam that she had committed many wrongs and she also had tattoos. Now she looked up online and saw that tattoos are forbidden amongst Muslims and was concerned that she may not be accepted. Then the Imam told her about the clean slate and that she has nothing to worry about she can keep the tattoos because getting them removed is costly, painful and she had gotten them before she became Muslim. So I mean it really depends on the interaction sometimes it comes up sometimes it does not.

. .
Why are you laughing?o_O
He insulted your own nation and PCB.
insulted by preaching him about what happens to people who turn to islam? what are you a 2 year old <-- this is insult.

freedom of speech is freedom of speech, there is no ifs and buts about it.
what shezad is is his own opinion and its freedom of speech. why do you people have a problem with it??
I'm a muslim as well and according our religion all non-muslims will go to hell.
just like christians say all non-christians will go to hell… its an open secret why make a fuss of nothing???

The Sri Lankan dude is an ex Muslim himself so he must know the comment Shezad made about automatic heaven is bs. They both look to be smiling so I think they were just messing around.

.
Being An ex muslim and Son of a Muslim guy, most probably dilshan heard such words thousand times. I believe this was just friendly chat. I had similar conversation with my close hindu friends and they explained their religion. If dilshan doesnt complain, who are you to react?
