The Shamsi Import and Export Group, one of Pakistan's exhibitors, has booked six stands and will send a 20-member delegation to the Expo, bringing various exotic craftworks for display said a media report.
The general manager of Shamsi Group learned of the China-DPRK Expo in mid June in Nanjing and showed great interest at that time.
He contacted the expo organizing committee for further information about the expo and decided to book six stands to showcase Pakistan's traditional craftworks, including brassware, agate, wooden furniture and leather craft, reports China Daily.
The brass craftworks are Pakistan's national treasure and are considered West Asia's greatest gift to the world.
The expo organizing committee also offered services to facilitate the Pakistani exhibitor's attendance, including business visa application and import customs services.
The Shamsi Import and Export Group is a large and influential company in West Asia, consisting of multiple subsidiaries covering businesses in technological research and development, manufacture and international trade, report said.
The Pakistani-style craftworks designed and produced by the group have been sold in over 50 countries and regions around the world.
