I would correct it here. it did not matter on the status but of past 15yrs we are seeing here a massive trend like the trash of kardashians across all divides of life. i know of many rich people whose women are absolutely good.

Newer generation is having a completely different mindset from social media; colour again is immaterial.

We are seeing record proportion of divorce rates in muslim community here in past 12 years which is unprecedented.

No no. trust me this is not the case, empowerment was done much before and there is no issue; but they are mixing up empowerment over social values disruption.
Higher divorce and other things which you've described as social problem are considered women empowerment

Sorry, will disagree with you. we have a very empowered society here; divorce rate was not high.

ok, then how do you attribute very high rates in Egypt/Algeria or even KSA even 30 years back. Mauritania is the worst - in the entire continent; people are changing partners no less than 5 times.

Don't know about these countries but early age marriage 5 or 6 children per couple all such things are common in poor societies divorce is considered taboo
