BERLIN: Pakistan women’s football team met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at Discover Football festival in Germany’s capital, attended by female football players from around the world.
Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed the athletes at the festival and took pictures with them. Pakistan women’s football players said they were proud to be representing Pakistan at a global platform and they wanted the world to know that girls in Pakistan love football and play football as well.
Local club Karachi United also attended the festival.
