Pakistan will split if PPP hurt: AJK PM

KHARIAN –AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Majeed has said that declaring India as most favourite country for trade won’t hurt Kashmir cause, and warned that Pakistan will be disintegrated if excesses were committed against the Pakistan People’s Party.

Addressing a gathering at Dera Kair on Saturday afternoon, he said Pakistan Tehrik-i Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, who was saying that the MFN status would delay Kashmir issue resolution for 10 years, was not spokesman of Kashmir. He alleged that Imran was issuing such statements at some other power’s asking. He said Kashmiri freedom fighters were struggling for past 65 years and the struggle will continue, but added, “We don’t want to sow seeds of ‘Barood’ (explosive material).

The AJK PM alleged that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif was nurtured by the military dictatorship, adding that there was no hope of betterment from him. He also criticised Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz for its demand of early elections, saying that party’s own chief minister in Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, even dithered on holding elections on just four poling stations.

He said that Pakistan People’s Party gave sacrifices and Dera Kaira was the place of Shaheeds because Chaudhry Tauqir Shaheed gave his life along with Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He vowed to campaign bare-footed from Khyber to Karachi in next elections for the Pakistan People’s Party. Chaudhry Majeed went on to say that Pakistan will be dismembered if excesses were committed against People’s Party.

This statement of the AJK Prime Minster is being seen as part of anti-Supreme Court campaign launched by the Pakistan People’s Party leader Babar Awan after the apex court took former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s petition on memogate scandal. Chaudhry Abdul Majeed also sparked a controversy in Kashmiri and Pakistani community in the UK after backing a motion in AJK’s legislative assembly against Lord Nazir Ahmed, declaring him ‘persona non grata’ which political observers see a blow to Kashmir cause as Lord Nazir has been raising his voice in the upper house of the UK parliament for Kashmiris.

The AJK PM, during his visit to Dera Kair, also announced development funds of Rs5 million each for the constituencies of the defeated candidates and Rs5 million for the welfare of migrated Kashmiris. He admired ex-Kashmir Affairs Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira for his special attention towards AJK and also praised PPP district president for their election campaign of AJK elections.
The Federal Cabinet has given India the status of “Most Favourite Nation” (MFN) by declaring that government policy on Kashmir would not be changed, arousing ire of the people, especially traders.

People from various walks of life have been protesting against the government, demanding withdrawal of the decision as it will affect the national economy.

Former AJK prime minister and President of All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has also opposed the MFN status to India, fearing a deep-rooted conspiracy on the part of India to cripple down Pakistan’s economy altogether through this move.

According to him, India is working on multi-dimensional strategy under the garb of bilateral trade. The government should take all the stakeholders into confidence before moving ahead.

Who will believe this AJK PM, he himself is a PPP member.

PPP needs to be destroyed to save Pakistan.

These PPP members are dreaming of Bilawal Bhutto to be leader of Pakistan in 6 years :hitwall:

Exactly what mansoor Ijaz said about the PPP.
That they will go as far as playing the "71" card to protect their lies regarding memogate.
It has begun..

any unconstitutional act or victimization in the name of treason, would definitely put Pakistan is awkward situation...

PPP needs to be destroyed for sake of Pakistan:guns: , and all politicians need to be executed in front public if they had done anything against Pakistan... PPP have to stop spreading lie Bhuttoism in Pakistan its remind me wat they had done in '71'......

No awkward situation. These corrupt politicians want to play the 71 card to save themselves even after crimes they have committed against Pakistan. No to any unconstitutional act but if someone has committed treason then he/she would have to pay for it. Nothing would split Pakistan and both these corrupt politicians and Bharatis should keep this in mind.

Fortunately in this case the SC is involved.. and their verdict will be the line to follow.
A coup however would spell the end for Pakistan.

I don't see Pakistan spliting but PPP is for sure splitting away from Zardari's gang for the right reasons and now they're so scared and whinning. Earlier Gen (r) Khattak resigned and now SQM...if a couple more big guns leave PPP then Zardari will be left alone with paindu **** sucker Raja Riaz!!

Are there still doubts over their treason?

I bet any patriotic Pakistani will be better prime minister or president of Pakistan than that Bilawal Zardari and for god sake, don't put Bhutto in his last name because it is very stupid, dumb and corny! ROFL!
