Ah, the romanticized notion that must be left behind once you reach intellectual maturity.

This is what most say until they spend some time with the fuming "masses." Their issues are just as grave and the system they shall bring post violent revolution that will see the rape and killing of the people who have a bit more (even if by their own hard work, legitimate businesses, etc.) will be just as vile as this one, if not worse.

Many in our leadership systems have come from people who belonged to the "masses" --- and then amassed great wealth once they were in power. We've had a previous COAS who was the son of a sapaeyee and many leaders of political parties today come from non-elite backgrounds (sons of corrupt patwaris and such.)
