ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Ansar Burney Trust International and former minister for human rights, Ansar Burney, has said Pakistan is ready to set free 15 more Indian fishermen from prison in Karachi and hand them over to the Indian authorities at the Wagha border on Monday.

Some of these prisoners are in jail for the last one to two years for fishing in Pakistani waters.Ansar Burney said he has received information from the Ministry of Interior that the government had ordered the release of 15 Indian fishermen on humanitarian basis and all expenses of their return to India will be borne by the Ansar Burney Trust, says a press release.

Burney said those who would be released are Lakha Deva Bhaliya, Devsi Misri Solanki, Parkash Solanki, Karo Govind Vaja, Sunjay Jeeva Saraniya, Jeeva Badiya, Bhika Bamaniya, Amrit Lal Bamaniya, Vijay Lakhman Solanki, Jitendra Kumar Vans Jethwa, Kalu Ram Vala, Chuunilal Krishan Bamaniya, Babu Bhika Bamaniya, Mansukh Oka Solanki and Premji Rama Jethwa.
