Pakistan to provide 10m dollars to Bangladesh for purchasing of food items
NEW DELHI: Pakistan would provide aid worth of 10 million dollar to Bangladesh for the purchasing of food items while both the countries have also agreed to enhance their cooperation in ambit of fields including security, defence and trade.
This was decided in a meeting held here between Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Chief Advisor of Bangladesh Fakhar Uddin Ahmed.
The Chief Advisor of Bangladesh informed Shaukat Aziz that his country is facing wheat shortage and sought Pakistan's help in this regard, adding that people in Bangladesh have started to eat corn.
The Prime Minister has assured Chief Advisor of Bangladesh that Pakistan would provide aid worth of 10 million dollar to Bangladesh for the purchasing of food items to fulfill its needs.
Both the countries on the occasion have agreed to enhance cooperation in security, defence, trade and other fields while Pakistan would take advantage of Bangladesh experiences in Micro Credit Bank
