Sartaj says Pakistan to send emissaries, delegations in different countries on latest security situation *Pakistan not to allow India to impose its conditions on Kashmir
ISLAMABAD – Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan was fully responding Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary.
He was talking to journalists on Saturday after enquiring about the health of JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman. Sartaj said that Pakistan's desire for peace should not be taken as its weakness. “We are making efforts at world level to make the UN Military Observers Mission more active,” he said.
He said that the government would send emissaries and delegations to different countries to inform them about the Indian aggression on the LoC and human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir by the Indian forces. He said Pakistan was highlighting human rights violations by the Indian forces in Kashmir where India has deployed seven hundred thousand troops to suppress Kashmiris.
The adviser said that India wants to resolve the Kashmir issue in its own way and Pakistan would not allow this Indian attempt to succeed. He said that the UN resolutions on Kashmir cannot be ended in this way. He said that terrorism has been contained in Karachi due to targeted operation launched last year.
To a question, he said that backlash of the ongoing military operation in tribal areas was not so intense but there was need to strengthen actions on military and intelligence level. “We have to foil conspiracies of spreading anarchy in Pakistan,” Fazl said on the occasion.
