according to this news PA is going to buy 10 additional units of artillery simulator systems made by HAVELSAN.

one such system is already operational in school of artillery Nowsahara. its very spacious and takes up entire hall. so far alot of positive feedback from PA for the systems.

The simulator provides forward observers and fire management personnel with required training which makes them capable to use artillery fire power in desired place and time.
On different land images, with fixed and moving targets, constituting scenarios, target determination and making fire request.
Creating real battle environment with image and sound effects. Having used every caliber mortar and compositions of bullets and fuses; their effects on target have been investigated.

The benefit of this will be to other arms as well including infantry whose officers can be trained along with Artillery officers in the role of Arty observers. Its good to see these aids being used to scale to the need.
