whenever we hear afghanistan the minds of all Pakistanis go to their alliance with India and new enemy and bullshit but we dont know that there are some aspects forgotten somewhat delibrately
on this occasion it will be unjustice not to pay our vastest and most modest gratitude to Ahmed massoud the real peoples hero and only hero of afghanistan rest are all scums
i have always said that history doesnot start from 2001 but from way beyond
going pre soviet war will loosen afghanistan's case so i will stick to what should have happened after it
leaders met and concluded Peshawar accord
it was torn apart by Hekmatyar allegedly with help from ISI
what i want to realize is why Pakistan tried to kill peace in afghanistan when everything was going in their favor
all the leaders were in Pakistani influence even Ahmed massoud rose to prominence with the help from Pakistan
everything was going as planned by "Generals"
a muslim and largely pro pakistani govt was about to form
where did hekmatyar came from?
first of all lets see the background
after soviet defeat every major stakeholder sat in peshawar
but not gulbudin
he did not even intend to form peace(the highest priority of Generals to realize their strategic dreams)
after he destroyed kabul
he did not join the juvenile Taliban but it was after some time
what must be seen is at the time of peshawar accord even Usama bin Laden who was also in Pakistani bucket at the time told him to go with his brothers
that is the base of Taliban and that is the base of current war in the Afghan nation
so what happened?
did Pakistan did it?
why would Pakistan destroy their own plan?
Russia after the war was known to infiltrate ISI-CIA complex to benefit themselves
but what possibly could ruusia get from it when even some communist had join it?
was gulbudin actually funded by Pakistan?
what should be known that he was to be prime minister by a peace treaty signed between him and ahmed massoud but was nullified after he was accused of firing a rocket at sibghatullah
the question is why was peshawar accord unacceptable to Pakistan when it was being signed right in their own territory?
why Pakistan needed to act covertly when at that time Pakistan was an influential power in Afghan matters?
the Talibans rose in 1996 but peshawar accord was in 1992?
the real problem was not Taliban but what gave rise to Taliban?
the gulbudin ?
why Taliban quicly became popular among Afghan masses despite being opposed by The Legend the Ahmed Massoud?
why? why? why?
the answer i believe does not lies in the GHQ but in Afghanistan somewhere
why?
because the biggest villian in Afghanistan has just signed a treaty with Afghan govt and has entered the politics of Afghanistan
Right now i will not put my faith in Taliban to bring peace in Afghanistan and secure Pakistani interest
i would ask Afghan Govt to take them down any way they can and i assure every afghan Pakistan itself is fed up with Talibans
Pakistan have a new Girlfriend in Afghanistan
the Haqqanis
Siraj haqqani is not only popular among Pashtuns but in some Tajik circles as well but most of his militia is made up of Pashtuns
Siraj haqqani was at good terms with Massoud but later the relations weakened but not worsened
siraj haqqani did not support Taliban untill late
and right now is the most powerfull non-state actor in Afghanistan
Gulbudin which was right now largely irrelevant should not have been given any peace but noose
and real man where Afghans should have put their effort of peace was Haqqani
well Afghan should be approaching Haqqani right now
after Ahmed massoud he is the sensible choice but the thing is all the choice is upto Afghans not us
why not let the Afghans rot in their own hell hole?
because Pakistan has suffered too much and not gonna leave now without sugar
the only way for peace in Afghanistan is Siraj haqqani
but most of all as ghani said Afghanistan needs to make its ties gud with Pakistan than Taliban
summing it up in one line
you will have to give Pakistan what it deserves in the first place
or Afghans can continue to rant whatever they want because everyone knows
that it all starts and ends with Pakistan
