Pakistan should capitalize on the turmoil between the West and Russia

Pakistan should understand its strong geo-political role in Asia after unrest between the West and Russia.

Stupid pakistani politicians and strategists do not understand their important role in Asia, in context by the last days conflict between the West and Russia.

NATO and the West needs Pakistan's cooperation in Afghanistan, to pull out equipment from Afghanistan. 100.000-200.000 containers. Allied forces looked for alternatives to Pakistan due to dispute with Pakistan over drone attack in Pakistan. America's drone attacks continue against Pakistan because they had alternatives to Pakistan for transportation out of Afghanistan. But as situation with Russia has worsen, Pakistan can press to stop drone attacks.

But now again the political scenario has changed once again. Pakistan should capitalize on the situation and request for whatever Pak army needs...

USA refused delivery of appache helicopters recently and other advanced weapons to Pakistan. Pakistan should negotiate with USA again. NATO needs Pakistan's cooperation even more now after deadlock with Russia.

Else Pakistan should ask for cost for rebuilding all roads used for container transportation, as all know that the heavy containers destroys all roads in Pakistan.

Ask for stop drone attacks

Increase cooperation with Russia over all regional issues, as tranportation of NATO containers out of Afghanistan. Pakistan & Russia should be on the same page here.........

Else also increasae cooperation with Russia, buy Russian advance weapons. Do traings with Russia. Increase business with Russia.

Yes i agree we should do it. But in our terms, conditions and time. Right now only focus on rebuilding our nation. Once we are self sufficient in every field we will show the world whose the real boss.

in iraq halliburton by rumsfield was charging $100 for a bottle of mineral water and when asked about it in congtess comittee was told it was due to logistics through , shame on us for not cjarging them enough, hillary clinton can say its not our problem , why should we the american taxpayer bail u out, so i ask why should we not charge enough ,

Thanks everybody for wise thoughts. I just meant that Pakistan could "exploit" recent world situation in its favour. Pakistan should not choose sides between Russia or West, but capitalize the situation. USA needs pakistan even more now, and now is the time to renegotiate som important national matters..... Pakistani politicians and strategists knows which matter to negotiate.

As everybody knows Obama & USA has showed rude behavior towards Pakistan specially when it comes to stop drone attacks. Now as Russia is planning to close its air space and probably also transportation of NATO containers from Afghanistan via rail. (from Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakistan-Russia-Latvia). Pakistan can now press for stop drone attacks, money for reconstruction of roads used for container transportation & delivery of equipment for pak army. West have given Afghanistan with atleast 65 billion usd - 80 billion usd in aid. That is very good, but some help to Pakistan dont bite. Else Pakistan should also tell USA not to create obstacles in Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline and other trade issues between the countries as it is serious shortage of natural gas in Pakistan & electricity.

In long run i agree that the solution for Pakistan is to develope own capability in everything, and not depend on any country. Pakistan should neither worsen its relationship with any country due to some other country.
