For some reason it's the exports to Afghanistan that are continuing to fall. Exports to other countries have remained, more or less, the same.

Have you seen amount of increase in local infrastructure development? Go have a look at PSE 100 index and performance of cement manufacturing companies. It not that cement exports have gone down but rather local consumption has gone up which is good sign for economy.

I am in cement marketing. Can't give you detail info only can tell that an Ex-senator Abbas afridi is the main culprit behind Afghanistan export fall.

And about the quality, Pakistani cement has very good quality above 8500 PSI which is enough for commercial needs. Actually the quality is what customer wants. We provide them the quality what they ask for.

You don't believe that but its true that Afghanistan export cement is the best quality cement on the other hand Indian customers always ask for low grade cement.
