NAROWAL: Chenab Rangers Sunday detained three Bangladeshis suspected of illegally entering Pakistan after crossing country’s border with India in Zafarwal Sector here, Geo News reported.



These arrests come a day after six Bangladeshis landed in the hands of border security forces attempting to sneak into Pakistan from India in the same sector.



Currency was also recovered from the illegal immigrants.



Border security forces have doubled up the deployments as well as patrolling along the border to prevent such ingresses in the future.

Pakistani border guards arrested six Bangladeshi nationals while they were trying to sneak into the country from India, officials said today.

According to the Pakistan Rangers, the Bangladeshis were arrested while attempting to cross the border in Narowal area yesterday.

An official claimed the Bangladeshis, in their thirties, tried to enter Pakistani territory "in connivance with the Border Security Force".

A Pakistan Rangers spokesman told PTI that incidents of illegal border crossing from the Indian side had witnessed a "sharp increase" in the past few months.

"The arrested Bangladeshi nationals entered here for spying, smuggling and terrorism," he claimed.

He further claimed that attempts to infiltrate the border were usually made a few hours after the BSF fired at Rangers posts in Sialkot and Wagah sectors.

Btw why would a bangladeshi will leave his peaceful country and doing better economy wise wrt pak will go to pakistan?Already bangaladesh's economy has overtaken Pakistan and is on verge of overtaking india and china.those bengali speaking persons will sure be indians.Who want to leave the land of poverty/disease/miseries for better future in pakistan...
