When coming into land, it was compulsory to touch down before or after the area where rails ran across therunway as touching exactly on top of the rails meant losing your tires.
Below are images of Peshawar airport still with signs where the train rails ran across the runway.

This train track still causes problems to this day especially for the F-7PG guys. On F-6s I know some pilots who have had missiles fired, tanks dropped and one had his jet hit by a train while taxiing out.

Ask the British and later PAF who are happy with using it. They normally finish with their kebabs and chai in the late afternoon.

Just saw the interview it has been released on Patreon much later than originally planned. Its an interview about Flying a plethora of migs and western aircraft. Overall a good interview as other people interviewed by the channel dont have such experience with a wide array of aircraft.

A master of fact and fiction from what I've heard from his seniors, contemporaries and juniors. Some spice added in it which has made it interesting. Can't wait to hear it on Spotify during the gym sessions.
