- ISLAMABAD-(Dow Jones)- Pakistan is likely to present its federal budget for next fiscal year on June 9, a finance ministry official said Tuesday.
Pakistan's fiscal year runs from July to June.
"The Economic Survey will be released two days before the budget," the official, who asked not to be named, said.
A meeting of the National Economic Council, headed by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, will be held on May 24 to approve development expenditure, the official added.
