A new barrage of Pakistani missiles rained down on Afghanistans eastern province of Kunar, killing four civilians and injuring six others, the governor said on Saturday.
At least 300 missiles had been slammed into the Dangam district over the past 24 hours, Syed Fazlullah Wahidi told Pajhwok Afghan News. The dead included a woman.
Pakistan forces have been firing rocket shells and missiles into villages on the Afghan side of the border over the past three months. Hundreds of families have been displaced as a result.
In the previous attack, four Afghans were killed and a dozen others injured.
The latest incursion comes two days after Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf held comprehensive talks with President Karzai during his first visit to Kabul.
At a joint press conference with Karzai, Ashraf said Pakistan and Afghanistan were two brotherly Muslim nations, with a commonality of interest and many historical bonds.
