Pakistan intends to increase exports up to $40 bn during FY 2021-22

It is quite clear they are making the assumption on the basis of textile industry data. The textile industry is promising to increase its exports from 15 to 20 in year 2021-22.
So they do have booked orders. New industry is also installed.of textile industry is confident and giving these figures then there is no reason to doubt them.
The 5 billion dollars increase minister mentions comes directly from textile. Which was 15 billion last year. Hope carona comes under control. Pakistan rate of vaccination is quite good. 3 carore vaccinated great.
Total exports of goods and services it should be mentioned before intellectually deficient people come and say:

WhAt A jOkE hOw CaN yOu InCrEaSe fRoM $25b to $40b In OnE yEaR

To grow exports, hope the government incentivizes more FDI.

btw, how much revenue does the government earn on each $1 billion of additional exports?

Most of the export industry is zero rated but it does help the country earn dollars and therefore fund the massive import bill some of which is essential and unavoidable such as petrol, cooking oil, wheat etc

The more we export the greater would be the stability of our currency.

what I don’t understand is why is the government on the hook for the import bill of private enterprises, unless they earn a fair share of the profits. exporters get revenue which they pay their workers and their local subcontractors, but besides providing the incentives for private companies to grow and pay taxes as well as spend their money in the local economy, when a private company is buying new machines, why does it seem the nation is on the hook for it?

Peanuts ... 1%
Those imports would employ millions and millions of Pakistanis.
And they would earn halal money. Besides pakistan wouldn't have shortage of dollars and manage their c.a.d easily.
If this attitude remains of Bangladesh. They would not have been what they are today.
No country has a rich daddy to hand over the purse to spend at will.. All countries develop their industry from somewhere. First you need a competitive policy and good one too. With that in place ease of doing business should be the thing. And government has improved both.
3rd what government can do is offer free lease on land for industry but then it would be called a favour so government would never been able to do it. It

Brother, no one is denying benefits of exports.

Fact of the day government revenue is 1% in case of exports.

No need debate facts
