Will the U.S. leave on time? If yes than what kind of government she will create in Kabul (obviously pro American but what about Pakistan and India) and what if she leaves Kabul on its own than what will be the aftermath?

Will Afghanistan see another civil war if the U.S. tries to disintegrate Afghanistan? And if she succeeds than how will the world community react?

If the U.S. creates a pro Indian government in Kabul than how will Pakistan react and vice versa?

What role will Pakistan play in Afghanistan in coming years?

Can China and Pakistan benefit by having a similar strategic policy towards Afghanista ?

What if Haqqani co (pro Pakistani Taliban) talk with the U.S. directly leaving Pakistan behind?

Will we see an end to Indian interference in Afghanistan if the U.S. leaves on schedule?

Will the suicide attacks stop after WOT ends and if not that what were we missing during all those years?

WHAT IF the U.S. does not leave on time than what will happen?

More questions coming in...

The Americans are losing heart in Afghanistan. A lot of army insiders thinks the major reason why McChrystal made those comments on rolling stone magazine is he was frustrated and didn't want to be around when they lost the war. Petraus is a brilliant man and Admiral Mullen is an able Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but even they are not enough for the situation. They are scrambling to come up with ideas and I think none of them will pan out as they predict.

In my opinion they will by the deadline. The deadline itself is a clue to what kind of settlement can be reached. 2011 is not nearly enough time for them to do anything ambitious. What they will try to do is strength the government to the best of their ability and get the hell out.

Does this leave a Pak or Ind friendly government? Hard to tell. It's a rotten bunch in charge in Kabul, they've ociliated between friendly india to friendly pakistan and their game is likely to be who can I extort more money from. In the end I think, they will realize geography and the ISI means they've got to play ball with Islamabad.

That's my terrible and probably inaccurate prediction :pakistan:

Situation in Afghanistan is detrioating more rapidly than thought. The group of soldiers from 101st airborne division also known as "shock troops" were cut in half by injuries just after 3 weeks of fighting. America will deem it too risky to exit afghanistan with atleast some stabilization. Pakistan is playing a key role in post-US Afghanistan and dont want any contenders especially India.

If the U.S. leaves Kabul on its own than Pakistan will have an upper hand.

Keep in mind, the U.S. won't completely leave Afghanistan, certain sections of their military will leave. I have been saying this again and again, I fear that the U.S. troops will enter Pakistan in coming years in desperation. I might be wrong but hey it is free to express your concerns/feelings. Moreover, ISI has effed up some of the major plots of the enemy in Balochistan and adjoining areas.

Some points are valid here. No prediction is terrible or inaccurate, it is just the outcome which makes that prediction wrong. :what:
